Stéphanie joined the team in August 2025 as an administrative assistant, but her path here has taken a few interesting turns. Before that, she worked in the world of professional boxing, helping to organize international events like the World Boxing Super Series. Being part of such fast paced environments taught her to stay organized, flexible, and calm when things do not go exactly as planned, which turns out to be a very transferable skill.

At DSBG, she supports the team in a wide range of administrative and organizational tasks and helps keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. She really enjoys being part of a young and dynamic team and sees her role as making sure everything works so others can focus on their research and teaching. While she is not deeply rooted in the scientific side of sport, it has been part of her life for as long as she can remember, just more on the active side. She has been playing volleyball since childhood and has been coaching a team for many years, so teamwork and consistency are very much part of her everyday thinking. She is happy to leave the theory to the experts and support them where she can.

In her free time, she enjoys cooking, reading, and staying active, often by chasing after her daughter, which is probably her most reliable form of exercise.
